	PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

Patricia Cuba-Sichler specializes in business and environment protection practice, with particular attention to pollution and nuisances.

She practiced as an attorney in Peru, where she was admitted to the Bar of Lima in October 1992. Her practice in France, which includes general business cases and advising on environment protection law, particularly with respect to pollution and nuisances and management of regulated plants, has enabled her to acquire the knowledge and expertise necessary in these areas.

	PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Based on her special interest in environment protection law (her thesis, presented in Lima in 1991, was on "The influence of environment protection law in the juridical sphere of Peru"), she was appointed to teach environment protection law at the Universidad San Martin de Porres in Lima from 1993 to 1995.

She manages training activities for the firm, including both training for the firm's lawyers and training open to outside lawyers in connection with the mandatory continuing education requirements for lawyers.

She supervised the implementation and application of the SMI QSE Integrated Quality Security Environment Management System of the firm until September 2007.

In connection with this activity, Patricia Cuba-Sichler trained with the Association française de normalisation (AFNOR) as an ICA (International Council on Archives) Quality Auditor.

	CONFERENCES AND PUBLICATIONS

Patricia Cuba-Sichler was a member of the Peruvian Youth delegation to the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development held in June 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her articles on environment protection law and the preservation of natural resources have been published in Peru. In France, she has published articles on management of polluted sites and regulated plants, areas in which teaches courses.

	education and degrees

She holds a Diploma af Advances Studies in environment law (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) (Paris I), and in April 2002 she obtained the equivalence of her law degree in France. She also holds a diploma of specialization in Civil and Commercial Law from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marco in Lima, Peru.
