The development of private/public partnerships and successive reforms of government procurement practices have changed the role of the practice of law and, more generally, the role of public law, a specifically French feature, in business life.

Exploiting its experience in its key activity of environment law, the firm assists public-sector and industrial clients in all operations organized by government agencies.

Based on its knowledge of the political and institutional environment of government agency activities, the firm:

 

 

Assists with institutional changes:

    • Restructuring of government-operated enterprises and satellite structures: government institutions, companies, mixed-economy companies, public-interest and economic inter-company management syndicates, partnerships, foundations, and other entities;
    • Opening up of economic sectors to competition;
    • Decentralisation and/or externalization of competences;


Advises companies and/or government agencies on their relationships with entities involved in construction of public infrastructures and real estate operations, financing, management of the public utilities, public-domain occupancy, etc.:

    • Preparation, signing, and performance of public contracts, public-utility delegation, partnership agreements, public-domain occupancy agreements, long-term leases for government agency and hospital premises, temporary occupancy permits, leasing with option to purchase, etc.;
    • Permit applications and negotiations;
    • Public assistance applications and use;
    • Liability.
